Community Events

Planning an event in support of the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation is a fun way to help make a difference for seriously ill children and their families.
The Foundation is grateful for all efforts on its behalf, and can help you coordinate a special and successful event.
These community events (also called third party events) include golf tournaments, curling bonspiels, hockey, baseball and soccer tournaments, walks - or whatever else you can think of. No event is too big or too small!

Fundraising Events provide a fun and entertaining way to bring community together while helping raise funds for seriously ill children.

Once you have decided on the event, please don't forget to register your event by filling out the Event Proposal Form.

If you're seeking information that isn't included here, or would like to become involved in one of our exciting fundraising activities, please call Tammy Dean at 905.752.7827 or email tammy@slsbcanada.org

Looking for a non-fundraising role? Become a volunteer. We are always looking for people who can help out both on the day of the event as well as in the time leading up to it.

It takes passion, creativity, and of course, time:
But the rewards and smiles are invaluable

Year after year, companies and individuals become more and more dedicated to Starlight's cause. So, the list of Starlight events just keeps on growing. It comes as no surprise that children and adults alike are eager to show their support to Starlight. After all, it's fun and unique experience, and it's all to support some very special children.
