We at Starlight Children’s Foundation are extremely fortunate to have an incredible team of volunteers! We have loyal, enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers, constantly extending a helping hand. The time and energy that our volunteers give us allows our foundation to pursue our mission of bettering the lives of seriously ill children and their families. The appreciation we feel for all of our volunteers is indescribable. Thank you Starlight volunteers for helping to put smiles on hundreds of children’s faces! How To Get Involved:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Starlight Children's Foundation. Our volunteers are like family and we are always looking for new and enthusiastic people interested in supporting our cause. In order to become a volunteer with our organization you must complete the following steps;

1. Fill out our General Volunteer Application
2. Attend a General Volunteer Orientation (see below for dates)

If you are interested in working with our very special children and their families you must complete a more in-depth volunteer application. Vulnerable Sector Police Screening

Once you have attended the volunteer training sessions and you have accepted a role as a Starlight program volunteer you must complete a Vulnerable Sector Background Screening prior to starting. There are new changes occurring to the screening process so stay posted for new policies and procedures. Our priority is to look out for the safety and well-being of our children.

Wish Granters Training:

• Due to an incredible response from volunteers over the past year, our Wish Granting program is full! Although we would love to include everyone, for the time being we will not be recruiting any more Wish Granters. There are numerous ways to stay involved at Starlight so please do not be discouraged. Stay posted for updates on the wish granting status! Thank you!
