Starlight Sites

Starlight Site playrooms, teen lounges and waiting rooms are beautifully designed, inviting hospital environments created to provide pediatric patients and their siblings with a place to relax and play during their hospital stays or clinic visits.
Currently there are 15 Starlight Sites in pediatric hospitals across the country. If you would like to learn more about the Starlight Site program, please click here.

"Hospitals can be a very scary place for children, teens and their families to visit, but the Starlight Room has helped to change that image."

Starlight Site - Hospital For Sick Children

The Starlight Room at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto is a special spot inside the hospital for hematology/oncology patients who are facing an extended medical stay, or attending the clinic for treatment. It's a place where children can go to meet other children and forget their troubles, even if only for a little while. In this safe haven, children play video games, watch movies, surf the net, interact with other children and enjoy the latest craft crazes.

We help seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.
