How To Help In order to continue our efforts to expand the number and
reach of our programs in BC, we need your help! Whether it is
by volunteering at a Great Escapes event, racing at Karts 4
Kids, walking at the Dream Walk or getting your company involved
in sponsorship, there are many ways to make a difference to
the kids here in BC. VOLUNTEERS In BC, we offer volunteers a variety of ways to shine in the
life of a seriously ill child. Our volunteer program not only
brightens a child's life, but it also brightens the life of
our volunteers. This rewarding experience allows volunteers
to apply their diverse talents in several ways, meet new people
and experience fresh challenges. As a volunteer, your time and
creative ideas are invaluable and your efforts as part of our
volunteer team will bring enjoyable rewards to you and to the
Starlight families. The BC Office is currently accepting volunteer applications
for the following positions:
- Fund Development (Gala Committee, DreamWalk Committee,
Karts 4 Kids Committee, Corporate Development team)
- Communications and Marketing
- Volunteer Development
- Great Escapes
- Grant Writing
- Office Volunteer
- Mascot
Qualified candidates should posses a commitment to our mission,
have a tendency towards leadership, communication, problem-solving,
team-work and flexibility, and relevant skills or a desire to
learn new skills. For more information please contact us at
the BC office or contact us by e-mail.

the generous support of individuals, community groups and local
corporate sponsors. As a member of the Canadian Center for Philanthropy
and, as such, we do not receive government funding. To raise
the necessary funds to support our programs, we depend on the
generosity of the general public and our corporate community.
There are a variety of ways you can get involved: We hope you will join us in bringing smiles to the faces of
seriously ill children. To find out how you can help Starlight
to shine in British Columbia please contact Heather at the B.C.
