 In
our community:
Concert for Kids: On October 6th, five bands came
together, volunteering their talent, for an extrodinary show
to help raise funds for SLSB programs within our community.
They were Sojourn, Loudlove, The Beautiful Unknown, DonkeyPunch
and Jen Milita. $1500 was raised from an incredible evening
of music and community. Special Thanks to Darryl Kornicky
of Live 88.5 FM, Ted Carty of Donkeypunch and Blip, for his
sound wizardry.
Fun Centre Donation!
On September 5th, Roger's House was presented with a fun
centre which was generously donated by Petra Hess.
The fun centre is a huge hit with the visitors and will add
some much needed fun to children in the years to come. Many
thanks to Ms. Hess from the staff of Roger's House & the Starlight
Starbright Children's Foundation Ottawa office.
