Starlight Starbright is dedicated to transforming the lives
of seriously ill children and teens through imaginative programs
that educate, uplift spirits, foster a sense of community
and help alleviate the pain and fear of a prolonged illness.
Starlight Starbright could not exist without the generosity
of a wide variety of people who care deeply about sick kids.

How does your donation help seriously ill children and
their families?
- Provide joy and distraction for hospitalized kids with
bedside access to a Starlight Fun Centre - mobile units
with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and Nintendo Game Cube.
- Provide a child with access to Starbright World, a safe
and secure online network providing peer support and fun
activities where hospitalized kids can be distracted from
pain, fear and loneliness.
- Provide a teen with cancer with access to our Coping with
Chemo program - a series of online webisodes designed to
help kids and teens find positive ways to deal with their
serious condition and treatment.
- Provide a hospitalized teen with a week of access to a
PC Pal - an internet ready laptop computer so they can stay
connected to their friends, do homework, and connect to
Starlight Starbright's online network of custom designed
programs.
- Allow a seriously ill child or teen to participate in
a Starlight Starbright Great Escapes event, which includes
ball games, movies and picnics. Because childhood illness
takes a toll on the whole family, Starlight Starbright provides
much welcomed opportunities for sick kids to spend "normal"
family time together - away from the hospital.
