Starbright World
Starbright World (www.starbrightworld.org)
is the premier online social network for seriously ill teens and
their teen-aged siblings. Whether from home or the hospital, members
are able to get to know other teens from around the world who
are going through similar experiences. They chat, post to the
bulletin boards, share pictures and create blogs. The site is
professionally moderated by Starlight staff. To find out if you
or a teen you know is eligible to join Starbright World, please
email sbw@starlight.org.
Be a Friend of Starlight
Starlight Children’s Foundation is on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr and we would like to invite you to be one of our “friends, fans and followers”!
By becoming a “friend” and “fan” and “follower”, you will receive updates about the new and exciting things we are doing in our community. Plus you can share YOUR story on our page.
Tell us:
- what awesome events you participated in
- why you or your company chose Starlight Children’s Foundation as your ‘charity of choice’
- what made you decide to volunteer with us,
- how we have affected you and your family
- how you’re raising money for Starlight Children’s Foundation
Checking us out and joining us in the online world will allow all of us to stay connected in our quest to better the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
It is our hope that sharing our experiences on social networking sites will help to raise awareness of the important work we do in our communities and inspire other visitors to our page to support our unique organization.
