Mother’s Day Colouring Giveaway!
What It Is:
COLOUR, CARE, AND WIN! We’re making May a celebration of moms with DAILY $50 GIFT CARD GIVEAWAYS and a chance to pay it forward!
In honour of Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada celebrating Mother’s Day with Toys“R”Us Canada, colouring pages will be available at every Toys“R”Us Canada store from May 2 until June 6, 2024. Each day, one parent will be randomly selected to win a $50 Toys“R”Us Canada gift card after posting a completed colouring page on social media, while tagging @StarlightCanada and @ToysRUsCanada with the hashtag #ImaginationIncluded!
Give and get! A win for one parent is also a win for a seriously ill child. For every winner pulled, we will pay it forward by gifting a Starlight child in their community with a $50 Toys“R”Us Canada gift card of their own!
How To Enter:
1) Visit your local Toys“R”Us Canada store and pick up a Mother’s Day colouring page at the checkout counter.
2) Share a photo of a completed colouring page on your preferred social media channel of either Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag #ImaginationIncluded.
3) Make sure to tag @StarlightCanada and @ToysRUsCanada in the post!
Note: Please ensure that your post setting is “Public” as this will be the only way Starlight Canada will be able to interact with your entry.
The Prize: A gift card valued at $50 to Toys“R”Us Canada. 36 gift cards of this value will go to 36 different winners across Facebook, Instagram, or X. 1 winner will be selected each day from May 2 until June 6, 2024.
Pay It Forward: A gift card valued at $50 to Toys“R”Us Canada will also be gifted to a registered Starlight child following each daily draw. 36 gift cards of this value will go to 36 Starlight children across Canada. 1 Starlight child will be selected each day from May 2 to June 6, 2024.
Rules and Regulations:
The Mother’s Day Colouring Gift Card Giveaway is hosted by Starlight Children’s Foundation® Canada. These giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed by or administered by Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or Toys“R”Us Canada and Babies”R”Us Canada. Toys“R”Us Canada and Babies”R”Us Canada are in no way involved in the gifting or distribution of prizes. In the case of an issue, responsibility lies solely with Starlight Canada.
Those who enter the giveaway are only eligible to win if they live in Canada and are 18 years +. No purchase/donation necessary.
Terms of Use: Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of photo(s). By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants Starlight Canada, and all affiliated partners, the right to use and publish submitted photo(s) as needed. Slight photo alterations may be made for use on social media or other promotional materials.
Draw Control:
Daily draws will be conducted from May 3 to June 6, 2024. Entries open on May 2, 2024, and close at 11:59 PM (EDT) on June 6, 2024, with 36 draws being held throughout. The 36 winners will be randomly selected daily, consisting of all submissions collected the day prior up until 11:59 PM (EDT). The Friday, May 3, 2024, draw will be pulled from submissions collected on Thursday, May 2, 2024, up until 11:59 PM (EDT). The Saturday, May 4, 2024, draw will be pulled from submissions collected on Friday, May 3, 2024, up until 11:59 PM (EDT), and so on until the final draw is conducted on Friday, June 7, 2024, from submissions collected on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
A limit of 1 entry can be submitted by an account per day (Ex. 2 different colouring pages posted on the same account still equals 1 entry). If posting on multiple social media platforms, an entry will be accepted for each post on a different channel for a maximum of 3 entries per individual (Ex. The same individual posting on Facebook, Instagram, and X [formerly Twitter] = 3 entries). The same colouring page cannot be submitted more than one time on each platform, and in all subsequent daily draws. Starlight Canada will be monitoring submissions.
If no entries are received on a particular draw day, a winner will be randomly drawn from the pool of all entries up to that given date who have not previously won.
Daily winners will NOT be eligible for all subsequent prize draws.
Starlight Canada employees and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter the draw.
Giveaway Winner Notification:
Daily winners will be notified directly the day after entry via social media messaging based on the platform their submission was posted on (Facebook message, Instagram Direct Message, or X [formerly Twitter] Direct Message). The social media handles of our winners will be publicly posted on this webpage, and on Facebook, Instagram, and X upon being selected. A dedicated Instagram Highlight will also be updated daily with the winning social media handles for the duration of the giveaway.
Prizes will be distributed by email unless other arrangements are agreed upon between host and recipient.
Winners have 30 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize. Should they not collect their prize, it may be revoked.
