Starlight Canada’s 30th Anniversary

Throughout the month of September, we are proud to be celebrating Starlight Children’s Foundation^® Canada’s 30^th Anniversary. We have so much to be grateful for, from the amazing families we’ve had the honour of working with, to all of our donors, sponsors and supporters over the past 3 decades.

However, as we look back on these past 30 years, we can’t help but think about what the next 30 has in store for us. Although we are proud of how far we’ve come, we know that there is a long way to go. As word of Starlight Canada spreads, so does the number of seriously ill children and families on our wait lists.

Our journey is difficult and never ending, but we refuse to give up on the seriously ill children and families who need us – from hospital to home.

So now, we turn to you. We ask you to join the Starlight mission. We need your help, so that we can help more. Below are little ways that you can get involved.

1) Donate $30 or become a $30 monthly donor in honour of Starlight Canada’s 30th Anniversary.

2) Help send 30 kids to a Great Escapes Wish by donating $135 to fund one child’s trip.

3) Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn, and sign up for our e-newsletter to join our journey. Look up the #30for30years hashtag to follow all of our birthday initiatives!

4) Spread the word. Tell your family, friends and colleagues about the ways they can help.

5) Host a fundraiser. Throwing a party? Instead of presents, ask your guests to donate to Starlight Canada in your name.

Every effort, no matter how small, can make a huge difference. So please, join us in celebrating 30 years of Starlight Canada, by helping us shine even brighter over the next 30 years for every seriously ill child and their families.
