Starlight Canada’s Online Auction – Rules and Regulations

To make a bid for an online silent auction item, simply enter your bid amount in the comment section under the item photo, nothing else. The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid of said item. Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $100. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and voided. Bidding begins at 10:00 AM and closes at 3:00 PM (EST) Thursday, September 5th, 2019.

Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the winning bid and will so be marked. In the event of a dispute, Starlight will act as the final authority. The official time will be based on the Starlight host computer.

The winning bidder will be contacted, via Facebook message, to arrange payment and to arrange pick up or delivery of item.

Payment for items purchased must be made in full. We accept cash, card, or cheque. Receipts will be available upon request.

Any item left unclaimed will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.

By bidding in the online silent auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. Starlight reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the online silent auction. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued. All items are “as is”.

Starlight provides no guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items and is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.

September 5th, 2019 Facebook Auction Prize: Valued at over $6000. 16 luxury suite tickets to the Shawn Mendes Concert at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON on Friday, September 6th, 2019. Suite #315. Includes a simple catering plan with popcorn, vegetable crudite, cheese platter, buffalo wings, hot dogs, pizza – cheese and vegetarian, water and soft drinks and ice cream bars. Hard copy tickets only. Tickets can be picked up by one group representative at Will Call ticket booths before concert.
